Swordfish steaks with cherry tomatoes

This dish requires more time to cook, but we guarantee it is something you can impress your friends and family members with.

Some of the ingredients you are going to need are freshly ground salt and pepper, a couple of swordfish fillets, oregano leaves, two cans of 15-ounce cherry tomatoes drained, red wine vinegar, thick lemon slices (optional), and about two tablespoons of drained capers chopped in small pieces.

With the help of a sharp fish fillet knife, you can cut the fish into steaks and get rid of all the skin, bones, head, and tail. In a large bowl, add the oil and the fish while seasoning it with some more salt and pepper.

Separately, chop the capers, tomatoes, and onions, and put them in a bowl with the red wine vinegar, pepper, and a pinch of salt. Cook the fish at a low flame until it has a rich brown-gold color, but no more than 8 minutes on one side and some other 6-7 minutes on the other.

After you are done cooking and seasoning, you can place the fish and the sauce on a plate and add the mixture of veggies on top. Serve it alone or with cooked rice.
